Elbow pads

Hi,

Looking for some advice or opinions on elbow pads, I mainly play woodland sites and most of the time fire from a standing/kneeling position, but the last couple of games I've found myself firing from a prone position.

So basically, I'm looking at elbow pads for some extra comfort , I use basic web'tex knee pads and was looking in the direction of some like this?

I have a pair of these and they are excellent. Much better than any with simple elastic and velcro fastening, or with simple padding inside - they have an extra ridge of padding, which sounds weird but really helps. Hard shell pads are best I think, because you can lean/kneel on anything with complete confidence.
