Firstly, haven't heard much about the brand... Anyone have opinions?

And also I was wondering where exactly the battery goes... it doesn't specify on the site I'm buying off.

The battery should be located in the stock

battery will as already mentioned go in the stock, Dytac are hit and miss for guns; you may get an absolute belter that shoots like a tack driver or you could get a complete lemon.
