Do they actually serve a purpose or do they just become extra weight when handling your gun, I know they decrease your reload speed or is it purely for aesthics?

I didn't think this post was needed in the General Discussion Section

whatever feels comfortable for you, they serve a purpose because of the quicker reload, but with most people using hi caps, reloading isnt as important than in the real. i found them to be too bulky and got in my way too much. they look ugly also. If you want the Dual mag look you can fake dual mags that are like 1000 round hicaps.

like this

Up to you, on low caps they can be useful, but with mid caps and high's you have so many rounds theres no point

I got two 450rd hi caps so there is probably no point, they just look quite cool thought

well if you have 2 mags saves you carrying them in your pocket etc and if you think they look cool then do it! :)

Cool, thanks, when I go next I'll try both, I mean I only taped them together with electrical tape

good luck man, dont let other people sway your decisions if you think its right for you give it a go.

I've made them so they are the upside down dual mags, Black Ops style, I only have 3 mags in total and if I taped the two ICS ones together it saves me having to lug round my SAAV, also, off topic I know, can under 18's use pyros with consent from an adult, if so I may have to take my SAAV because I don't really want one in my pocket

Urr... I guess so...

well i do lol

yup, it's fine with consent.

as for the mags, I wouldn't put a hi-cap upside down. What happens if the trap door gets caught/falls off? and you need to space the mags aswell - tape an old jenga block/similar sized piece of wood/plastic between them to space them properly.
