Hi all,

I'm wondering if the following is possible:

I have a Dan Wesson 2.5" stubby Revolver that shoots .177 metal BBs (obviously not 6mm airsoft BBs). Found here:

http://www.countrywaygunshop.co.uk/product/dan-wesson-2-5-silver-177-pellet-co2-revolver-air-pistol/

There is a 6mm version of this for airsoft (this one's an 8" but you get the picture)

http://www.pellpax.co.uk/airsoft-bb-guns/airsoft-pistols/co2-powered-pistols/dan-wesson-8-silver-co2-6mm-airsoft/1946

I was wondering if it's possible to put a bigger inner barrel into it (6.03mm or something), and to get the "fake bullet" shells that hold 6mm BBs instead of the ones I currently have that hold .177's.

Anyone know if it's possible?

Cheers!

It’s probably possible, but would be far easier to sell it and buy an airsoft gun.

Would it?

Who buys them? >.<

Don't know of many markets for second hand .177's

Didn't Facebook recently ban the sale of RIFs?

This is beside the point anyway, I kinda want to try it as a little project! Was just wondering if it is possible or not and if anyone had nay pointers :P

-That said, if anyone wantys to buy my .177 version, PM me ;)

As long as the outer barrel of the revolver isn't too narrow, and the shells are the same size, it should be fine. Not sure how well it would work, but it could work.
