Guys I need your help! I found another shiny new thing.

http://www.taiwangun.com/en/electric/cm-079a-p-j

I’m strongly  considering buying this instead of this:

Mainly because it seems parts for the SIG are slowly being discontinued, including magazines. Also if I use a RIF which uses stanag the magazines will be interchangeable if/when I upgrade. I think it will also be much easier to find batteries for the Cyma.

Does anybody have any experiences with the CM 079a?

In case anyone asks I’m looking to spend up to £150 or thereabouts.

They're discontinuing Sig mags? Since when?

I bought the JG080 and I really like it, got a fantastic deal on it. You can pick up those mags off Taiwangun, £6.04 for the mid and £6.94 for the hi cap.

Yeah, just considering the future - when I drop/break mags will I get replacements. As a slight side note how do you find the SIG mags fit in mag pouches?

Just put your fears to rest airsoft products are made in batches. All models go periodically in and out of stock. There have been at lest 3 manufacturers making cross compatible sigs for at least 10 years. Oh and ak pouches are good for 30rd sig mags

Being discontinued by some retailers is one thing, but I very much doubt they are being discontinued by the manufacturer.
