confused

Hi guys i have a M4A1 ics with plastic foregrip not ris. I have a small ris base mount and what i beleive is a scope holder that came with it when i brought it from a forum user and i have no idea were the small peice of three sided ris goes.

If im confusing you its similar to this link

clamps on the the barrel just infront of the front iron sight.
