Hi! I’m new and not yet been to a site, I’m thinking of going to phoenix in mansfield this weekend,  is there anyone i can tag along with in games ? Going to be sat there like a right loner otherwise!!

On any site there will be people testing guns, setting sights or dialling in their hops.

Just join in do a few shots and ask if anyone has any advice on getting the best range possible with what you have.

Little less awkward than rocking up and going "hey nice kit, wanna tell me about yer pew?" ?

I know, but it's more authentic,  so I'd probably live with it unless it was really too low.  That ACOG thingy is more more for function....which it proved today. ?

Of course an elcan with the RDS is spot on but I find one too low & one too high.

I’ve got the B&T rail on it, so that raises the Elcan high enough to be comfortable to shoot.  It’s fairly low compared to the red dot, but for looking at stuff far away it’s perfectly fine.  For most shooting I’m on the RDS anyway

To be fair, it's about the same height as on my Z mount for the A2. Just mines more... aesthetically pleasing (Not me trying to still justify the cost ?)
