Hi all,

I brought a nuprol 999 version 3 gearbox which got deliverd today, I installed it but it seems the motor does a few spins that stops and move slightly on each squeeze of the trigger. I'm using a 7.4 v nimh and just wonderd if I should be running it on a bigger battery or should it still work with a 7.4v.

Scratch that my battery is an 8.4 however I still have problems with the motor not cycling and its brand new!

Check the battery is fully charged, next check would be motor height. If the motor is set too high it will do what you're describing.

Do you know what spring is in the gearbox?

Sorted it, seemed my battery was knackered! ??
