So gunfire.pl have just added this and this to their store.

I haven't heard of the manufacturer before so not sure if it is worth the risk buying it.

Any thoughts?

Your link just goes to the assault rifle Category. It only shows the LCT AS VAL,which isn't exactly cheap. LCT AS VAL,although new has been praised for it's build quality, durabilty and materials. Full steel construction. CNC Receiver, stamped steel everything and the welding work is fantastic. LCT are very good at making body kits with good durability and materials. LCT used to be the OEM for Inokatsu. The AS VAL according to some people is probably the best thing they have released for some time. I'd say that's true, barring that full steel m60 they make

The Gearbox is LCT's new 'pre upgraded' shite. The Piston is no longer the craptastic clear one and now a decent Glass fiber nylon one. It has a steel rack which is good for high speed builds, however it can chew up the gears if something goes wrong, unless LCT made the steel on the piston rack weaker than the steel on the gears.. Unfortunately they chose to go with 9mm bearings. The trouble with 9mms is that the bearing size is larger but the balls inside are not so you get no performance or durability increase over 8mms. 9mm bearings are more prone to failure than 8mm ones too. Gears are standard fare, partly machined it seems. LCT gears are generally pretty durable. Metal piston head with bearings is unnecessary IMO but It's in a V3 gearbox so no durability issues. Air seal parts are often good quality. The Gearbox shell is very, very well cast. Google 'LCT V3 gearbox' and look how pretty it is. It looks better than a lot of aftermarket stuff. Hop up and barrel are 'meh' from my experiences with LCT stuff. Barrel is 6.02 and brass IIRC.

External wise it's a clone of the Russian made NPO VAL so it shares the same issues-top cover is too large and the ejection cover/bolt is too small, stock is also smaller than the RS but again, inherited from the NPO. Otherwise it's one of the better proportioned ones out there. Other manufacturers really messed up the handguard on their VSS/VAL models but LCT got it right.

If you are talking about the Force/Core one they have it's a rebrand of the S&T/AY VAL. It's malformed very badly and proportions are very bad. gearbox is nothing amazing compared to other ACM but can be good with some tuning. Most of it's made out of zamak and some steel parts. It works well however. It does not have some issues with hop like KA and does not have some odd design choices like G&G.

Fixed. Sorry about that. I have now linked it to the Force Core made one which I meant to originally.

Sorry, fixed the link. Good insight to the LCT one though :)

Anyone know if there is a difference between the one on gunfire and taiwan gun?

They are both the same ones. Force Core = S&T. AY is S&T's OEM. All the 'ACM' VSS and VALs are made by S&T/AY.

Anyone know how reliable and upgradeable they are or how they perform out of the box?

Was gonna get one myself but then realised how in accurate the externals are to the real one. The serration on the outer barrel is too far up the barrel where as the real ones serrating comes down to nearly the body. Other things are also messed up.

Supposedly the internals are a bit washy too. Might just keep away from this one :(

We discussed them briefly on here. You'll need to ask to join iirc. The verdict was "OK".
