Can You Convert a Version 3 Gearbox to a HPA Build?

Hi I'm looking at buying a asg to convert to a HPA but all seem to be version 3 gearboxes. I've been told that you can only use a version 2, is that right?

Just as easy to convert to V3 gearbox . Get right nozzle length thou  for brand and type of gun . 

Done a few AKs . sA 58s . With type 3 gearboxes . Any trpuble or questions give me a message
