This scum bag took my money for a sale on another forum two weeks ago, then disappeared. No goods, no response to emails, messages or Paypal communications. If anyone has any ideas, please PM me, as I have a few people who would like to find him too.

Cheers, Dev. Now I know what the little puke looks like too. I have his address, his email address, his others business mobile phone number which is at the same address, and a lot of big welsh friends who live a few streets away now.

Can I suggest writing to him first (since you now have his address) stating your intentions to go and resolve the situation personally if he cannot resolve them otherwise? Whilst unlikely, there are possible genuine reasons for his failure to reply.

Any suggestion of force or trying to scare someone into something wouldn't go down that well if this situation were to go to the police etc. etc.

How come PayPal has been fruitless? If a dispute is raised, you would be refunded if he was not defending his case..

Oh lord, I'm not suggesting violence. I just have friends who live in Newport and I have friends in several constabularies. I have lodged a paypal claim, but he is ignoring their communications and I don't see why I should have to wait for their conclusion to get what is rightfully mine. I have texted his mother to ask her to tell him to get in touch. He only went offline a week after the transaction, just as I asked if he had sent the vest, so it is fairly obvious that he's hiding.

I think the thing pissing me off most is that I don't know if he will send the vest or refund me. Either is OK, but I can't buy another vest if that one is going to arrive. So, in the meantime, I have to be patient and wait for Paypal to agree he's a thief and give me the cash back. These people are scum <_<

Elliot has been in touch by text message in answer to the message I reluctantly sent to his mum. Looks like matters will be resolved. I will keep the forum up to date.

No follow up to the text message, and Elliot is now ignoring them, so it looks like it will never be posted and I will have to wait for the PayPal claim to run its course to get my money back. You people who do this sort of thing are pure scum. You think it's OK to have someone else's hard earned cash for three or four weeks on "loan" do you? Pathetic excuses for human beings <_<
