Hi guys,

I just purchased a kwa m4 CQB off a forum and I can smell a slight burning smell from the gun on Semi and full auto is this normal ? Also the handgrip gets quite warm quickly on a 8.4v battery ?

please help guys I dont know much about guns and I'm not sure if this is normal.

Cheers

Sounds like an electrical problem. If ever you smell burning, stop pulling the trigger!

Sometimes this can be the motors? is there a grinding noise when firing?

is the gun brand new?

sometimes they can smell. but other than that i would say gears rubbing

My vote is electrics - some kind of short around the motor. It's probably nothing serious, maybe just a wire with damaged insulation trapped between the pistol grip & motor cage. It needs sorting out though...
