After two yers I recently dusted off the airsoft gear to go skirmishing. My M4 worked flawlessly but my Bolt BR47 didnt. I know the Bolt guns have a bad reputation and I have also now fallen victim it seems.
The issue I am having is the magazine catch, it is not holding the magazine securely in place which is stopping the BBs from feeding. Otherwise the gun is functioning fine. I believe the issue relates to the spring no longer holding enough tension, does anyone have experience of this and can anyone help me source a replacement? If anyone doesnt know the BR47 catch is basically a standard AK catch at the bottom of the magazine well but operates with an M4 style button. I have attached a picture of the spring below, I believe it is called a double torsion spring.
Any help, advice, fixes or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Evike.com sell a kit but with shipping, import fees etc itd be upwards of 50 quid for basically a small spring...

If anyone knows a shop or airsoft place that sells this type of thing or knows a workaround then I would be very interested to hear. Ive done a lot of googling but no real luck so far. Its such an annoying small thing to stop a whole gun from working and a good example of very poor design. Next time I want an AK style gun ill just buy an AK...
