i have used some blaster devil BBs and it says: Tolerance +/- 0.01 MM. Is that not really good? Im suspicious because i bought 3000 of them for only £7.99. are they actually good?

I haven't had any problems with them so far after a year of using them.

I use normal Blasters, don't know the difference between them and Devils.

The best BBs you can get are BB Bastards but they're £8.99 for 2000 0.25s.

BB's for me tend to be much of a muchness, with one exception,

My guns don't seem to show any difference between Proball/Blaster/Devil Blaster(/and to an extent the zero one bbs but see below). They do show differences in mass and if they are washed/unwashed ( I won't get into this now its a sniper thing so almost irrelevant to most shooters). If it helps, the guy that runs 5 local sites and sells consumables near me doesn't bother with Blasters if he can get Devil Blasters, his opinion is they are only slightly more expensive but are of a significantly better quality.

The zero one bbs have been the only ones that I have found deformed bbs in bags. That's 0 in a minimum of 15'000 bbs for each of the others and 2 deformed in about 8000 for the Zero one.

My understanding is that you are looking for something that is faultless when moulded, no bubbles ( bubbles will cause them to tumble erratically) second perfectly spherical both will lead to accuracy issues. I guess their +/- diameter tolerance could give you an idea of their quality as the more consistent their manufacturing methods are the higher their bb's quality are likely to be. However on some of the sniper forums some people have done a lot of work measuring very accurately the bb's and manufacturers stated tolerance are not necessarily accurate.

i only use .25 blaster devils. they arent expensive, they are the size i want and they dont have any deformations. no point trying to find anything else as they tick the boxes. if you want lowers then choose blasters. higher than bastards. i cant see why would would buy .25 bastards as they are only gonna be used in AEG so to expensive for that type of play but devils are fractionally more expensive then normal blasters.

I like 0.3g Devils for sniping - they're better than King Arms 0.3's, Blaster 0.25's but in an AEG with an inner barrel of 6.03mm or bigger, I don't think it makes much difference what you use, apart from Z1's about which I've read several people less than pleased. I've used about 40,000 BB King 0.2's - the cheapest 0.2's i could find and i promise you, they performed similarly to Blaster 0.2's - about 2-3m less reliable range iirc, but no significant increase in the number of 'fliers' ie BB's that freak out and make a bid for freedom as soon as they're out and about in the air. I don't remember them being significantly worse for grouping accuracy, if any worse at all.

But yeah, for my 6.02 and 6.01mm TBB's I only use BB's with a better rep, like Blaster. So where are you getting them at that price and how much is the P&P?

I got them from wolf armories, i did collect them myself though so i dont know the p&p. you could always check on the site though.

I notice a bit of a difference. Casting nipples are more prominent on regular blasters and the casting looks better on the devils, minor difference in performance.

When washed, there is a bigger difference and devils come out better grouping and distance wise. Rubber grips the BB more firmly, the better quality casting shined when the BBs were washed of the molding residue.

£11.50 inc. P&P & VAT for 3000 0.2g Devils from Wolf Armouries

£10.98 inc. P&P & VAT for 3000 0.2g Devils from Airsoft World

ASG themselves lists Blasters as only Grade 3 BBs (medium quality) whereas Devils are Grade 1 (Premium / 'Diamond')

Described as being "extremely consistent in dimensions", and having a "special coating for improved smoothness/lubrication on BBs".

Gonna have to buy some when I've used the rest of my Blasters!

Well, I think I'll pop down to Patrol Base myself and pick some up for this weekend!

yer i have found bit of moulding in them. my friend poured straight into his hi caps. 2 jammed with bits of moulding. and we found a couple of stuck together bbs. we never used them again.
