Battery/Rifle conformity questions

Just so I don't completely waste my money, is this:

able to last with an 11.1v lipo? Because I was thinking of getting it and using it as a dmr, but they say it will only work with an 11.1v lipo, and I have heard that this reduces the life of the rifle a lot.

It's a custom build designed to work with an 11.1 so it should be fine.

Its locked to single shot and some sites wont allow an M4 as a DMR so it might be worth checking that you will be able to play where you want.

I dont really understand why it must be a 11.1V battery ?

I can't understand why a site would not allow an M4 to be used as a "DMR", would they not allow my KC-02 to be used as one?
