Hi

How long should I be charging a 1600 MA Nihm battery for with a 300Ma charger?

I have only been doing them for 1.5-2 hours is this enough or too much?

Battery capacity divided by charger output multiplied by 1.4 will equal charging time in hours.

example.....1100 / 250 x 1.4 = 6.16 hours.

So for yours I would say around 7 and a half hours to 8 hours charge to full charge, 2 hours will barely tickle it!

First one will tell you

it should be 5.2hours. For example if you have a 500 mah charger and a 5000 mah battery it will take 10 hours

That would be correct if you had 100% efficiency Josh, but unfortunately electronics aren't that good.
