I could do with some suggestions.
Buddy of mines AW Hi-Capa keeps partial cycling.
With an unloaded mags, cycles
perfectly until it’s out of gas
Once you load it, it will fire between 5-15 shots “normally”, then not cycle enough to lock the hammer down, and stops firing, onviously. Tried two different make 0.25 bb’s, and 0.36’s Geoffs, all bio.
Tried TM, WE and the original AW mag, all exactly the same.
All on green gas.
occasionally, but not always, during the cycle with ammo, a bb will just drop out of the barrel, as if there is no gas or no hop.
Tried all the usual, stripped, cleaned, lubed, no splits in nozzle, nothing appears obviously damaged. I hate hi-cap A’s so haven’t disassembled the hammer fully yet, but have tried reseting the sear spring, and a slightly weaker hammer spring, no joy.
Any hi-capa genii out there?
