Hi guys I’m new to hpa and I want to use a polar star cgs 12g in an ares m110k1 and was wondering what the best hpa engine is for a dmr or what u guys prefer and who’s the best tech in the north west to take it to be fitted

Depending on the version of your rifle, the first issue may be the gearbox shell. I believe the area around the trigger is unique to this gun for the EFCS version.

The large hole in the shell for the aeg trigger board makes fitting some hpa boards impossible.

If this is the case, users online typically ended up buying replacement gearbox shells.

For a DMR I would usually default to a Kythera but if you are using an EFCS gearbox then look at an F2.

You can buy a black leaf board to integrate the stock EFCS so no issues with gearbox.
