That G&G one looks good. The original original was made by Prime a long time ago. I'll see if I can find some pictures of mine.
Damn, I just beat you to it, you know what that means though ?

lovely ! I remember them well … which means I’m old , but not old enough to forget just yet .

But to clarify , I ment the first run of G&G Gr300 series (around 15yrs ago ? ), I think they did a later run which was a bit watered down on the trademarks ?

I think A&K have also done at least one version. It's an interesting RS gun. Gas piston operated instead of direct gas impingement, sort of a HK416 before HK416 was a thing.

yeah , the A&K are ok , a bit rough round the edges and I think zero trademarks ,  there’s some Double Bell versions around too , but I prefer the OG LR300 look , had the G&G carbine version when it was released many moons ago but Milsim stuff took over so it went to the great classifieds in the sky . This popped up , mint in the box from another old geezer collector and the nostalgia kicked in ???

This one had the tube folding stock which I was never a fan of , so the ace stock is in place till I can find a decent copy of the collapsible folding version .

I've got an A&K/frankenstein hybrid with the tube folding stock, plus another tube folding stock that was broken, so I repaired it but it's slightly different in style, the repair wasn't pretty but I was able to hide that with a heavy duty neoprene sleeve,  so I'm happy with it, & it's a more comfy cheek weld now.

The fairly vanilla AR collection - 1. newly added secondhand TM MWS M4A1 for a Lone Survivor inspired set up (and my first foray into gas), not going full nerd as I don’t have the time or funds, needs a paint job and, if I can find a cheap one, an M203; 2. VFC HK416A5 in a configuration I’m extremely familiar with, other than the TacBelts sling and a lack of magnifier; 3. Specna DD Mk18 AEG for a more modern SOF style look.  1 and 3 for woodland games in God’s plaid/tan or MultiCam, 2 for indoor/CQB wearing black.  At some point, there might be a CQBR if I can find and afford a second MWS upper.

Not new pews but can't really be seen in the pics I posted previously, so...

AR57 I got from the classifieds, bad a PEQ box fitted as a battery holder which was ugly as sin so I rerouted the wiring to the mag well, emptied an older stanag of it's internals and works great as a battery box. Never used in game but even carrying it to the range area I felt the need to remove the mag to avoid any shouts of "mags out in safety zone".

I've yet to find a set of sights I want to put on it, an RDS looks odd, an Acog is too big due to the mag release so I reckon I'll eventually put some M16/4 irons on it at some point. It shoots a bit hot anyway so would need a spring change or a lot of bb's through it before I can even consider using it in a game (it's a big heavy lump so more of a wall hanger TBH).

Honeybadger I also got from the classifieds, it had obvious signs of being butchered internally, I remember posting at the time how the spring and various bits went flying across the room when I opened it (found them eventually), once refitted it was pretty crap so I ordered a new complete gearbox which was a doddle to fit once it got here from 6mm (along with a scented candle thanks to some idiot in UK customs, should have been a tan grip), butt cap was missing & had a fake carbon fibre one which was crap too, and if that wasn't bad enough it had a fake carbon fibre suppressor cover which took ages to remove. It's very light and feels nice even just plinking in the garden so I should really try it in a game at some point, too hot as well but I'm sure a few hicaps through it 'might' bring it to site limits.

Got them both pretty cheap so don't mind spending a little money on them if I do decide to use them.
