So I have a Peltor Comtac III headset and to run the standard mic you need and amplified PTT otherwise VON is really quite. I bought a 3.5mm audio plug to go in the other mic socket to listen to music or the odd time using an android program to communicate. The issue I am having is the sound volume is super low I am thinking I need to "amplify" it in some way?
Anyone know of an amp to go between the cable and the device? Or any advice on how to up the volume without going through a PTT?
3.5 mm cable https://3mpeltor.earshotcommunications.co.uk/product/3m-peltor-fl6n/
Attaching a photo as to converse a thousand words and all that.
I know its very niche subject but am always surprised about the amount of knowledge kicking around here. Thanks very much for any help.
