Joys of renting a warehouse, in general investors are buying them as a punt as a potential development site to flip.
It’s a shame as they put a hell of a lot of time and money into this site only to have the rug pulled.

And want the tenant out so that they can get rates holidays. The joys of a system that rewards you for doing nothing instead of something with a site.
Yup, it's gutting to see all that work get literally wrecked. When the Depot was kicked out the internals were gutted, smashed and cut to pieces, before they could even get on site to salvage them.
I have a real fear that they're being mugged off at their new site, and being used just to clear it out and patch it up, before they get the rug pulled out from under them again.
Hopefully InRange can get a smoother exit and find another site soon.

That is a disappointing thing to read. I hope that the guys from inrange find a new home and can mange to migrate the site rather than have to loose it completely.
IMHO, apartments or houses or more likely student accommodation, its the new boom industry, university education. My city has suddenly built 10 large student accommodation complexes that each easily takes 3,000 students. Given the number that exist already and that the capacity of the university is less than the capacity of the accommodation, there is no room to expand the universities as they have a maximum number of students that they can take, makes you wonder what is going on with property developers.
So don't be surprised if the place has a big complex built on it or apartment bock.
