Alternative Lightweight Rucksack for Viet Nam load outs

Hi all,

Just found this and I think with slight modifications I can almost pass this off as a Viet Nam era lightweight rucksack frame. Its obviously got differences but the main one is the price. £15 as opposed to £200 Thought I'd just share

Here is one that has been modified. That will do for me My OCD will cope with this

Fair play, looks good. I probably would have cheated and just run with a webbing yoke yo look like something out of platoon lol

I think that's a GS bergan frame and they are pretty close to the ALICE. What's wrong with just using an ALICE frame for 'Nam stuff?

The ALICE frame is just the wrong era. This thing looks almost identical to the period lightweight ruck
