airsoft gun locking problem

the air nozzle will come back and out stroke once but then the gearbox will lock and make a grinding sound. this happens every time i pull the trigger. I cant find anything wrong with the gearbox, the battery is fully charged and i ve adjusted the motor height. What could be wrong? could my motor be done?
