Has anybody fitted an airlab sorbo pad to an octarms? Also which part it glued to the piston head, black or white?

Technically you're supposed to glue the sorbo part to the cylinder head and the white (plastic?) part faces the piston head.

Personally I remove the original rubber buffer from the cylinder head (if you are using a single piece cylinder head) and then glue the sorbo directly to the cylinder head.

Further to that I cut the white bit off completely too, I find it gives a nicer AOE / piston / sector mesh usually

The White part of the kit is to stop the pad its self disintegrating , I have always fitted direct to the cylinder head with its rubber pad removed and adjusted the thickness of the sorbo to correct AOE  .
