Must have been every time I was there! If there's spaces available you're still better off booking. There's a calendar on the website: http://www.zedadventures.co.uk/calendar/ and it seems there's still spaces for this Sunday. Drop an email to [email protected] with you name, walk on/rental and the site and date you want to book. They usually reply pretty quickly.Doors open at 08:15, they have 20 walk-on slots, and I'm told they've only had them all used up a couple of times this year so not booking isn't a big risk (although open to sods law of course)
I usually book and turn up about 08:40, which gives me enough time to get chrono'd (usually a 10-15 person queue for chrono by that time so takes about 15 minutes), and then still have enough time to sort my kit out before the safety brief
Its still showing places so should be ok.Might be there on the 27th waiting for the wife to give me permission.I would be surprised if it isn't already booked out at this stage. I'll be there on the 27th.
Maybe I have been lucky but in two years I have only once booked and been told it was full and the website was wrong. I have booked in the day before quite a few times, if there is a problem they will let you know anyway the same as when they confirm the booking. The torch is basically a necessity.@trigger, if you're looking at the website. I wouldn't bother, its never up to date. It's been booked out before and still shows as spots available.
Hope I'm wrong for your sake, other than that just get there at 7:40ish to guarantee walk on on the day.
And regarding tips, llukiie, take a torch for starters. Peacocks is generally where games are won and lost. Basement is often bottlenecks, the corridors behind the shops are great for flanking. Always watch out for the balcony if you are on the main concourse. Most of all, have fun!
