AEG Upgrading

Hi guys, i'm relatively new to airsoft and want to get to know my rifle more than battery in mag in pull trigger. Would anyone know of any websites or literature so that I could educate myself on AEG's and how to upgrade them, which parts effect performance, range fps etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Head over to the forums at airsoftmechanics.com. There's a vast amount of info from the basics right up to advanced theory. I don't know of a basic intro to AEGs off the top of my head, I'm actually working on one at the moment. But airsoftmechanics.com is the best place to learn, spend some time reading the stickies and you'll pick it up pretty soon.
