It's just a M4 with a bigger more awkward magazine. 

First time I used the mp5 mag at the weekend. All fed perfectly with zero issues. 

I use a mix of ares, specna arms and nulpro pmags mid caps and they all fit and feed fine 

Are we talking stock bucking and nub? If so my stock DE UTR 45 that is the same as the 90* range internally couldn't lift .3 I've swapped all my DE guns to a zci hop unit with maple leaf bucking of some sort and nub and can now lift .3 plus easily

Mag adapters and mp5 mags for my DE UTR45 turned up today.  Also a Daniel defense handguard I got off here turned up. Seems to be a insert in the barrel nut to make it narrower so doesn't fit over my outer barrel., So I'll take it it into work and see if it presses out 

Finally got my mag adapters to run the more manageable mp5 mags. mag wobble is no more than the standard magazines. I'll test them out this weekend for any feeding issues 

Put a order request Into patrolbase to order stuff from their site. Takes 4-6 weeks as I think they do a monthly request order to them.  I've just had a few bits turn up today from doing this. 

I emailed them about Airsoft barrel nuts and they replied saying they currently on do real steel threaded barrel nuts. 

I had teeth snap off my spur gear on my specna edge. I've ended up getting a new zci shell from ak2m4 with all new Gears and internals

Another option is using a tool box, hardboard foam and a few cans of plasti dip 

Could be that as the old bucking was covered in silicon oil there was less resistance as the BB passed through it. 

I'm another double eagle fan. I have the 904G, H and the UTR 45.  For the money I think they are brilliant. Not had a single problem in any of them. Swap out the barrel and bucking and your laughing. 

Thanks for your help. I think I'm going to go with a specna arms 13.5" hand guard or the a nulpro one if I can find one in stock in the size I want. 

It had the e07 hand guard on it. I ideally want mlok like my other guns but Ive read about different thread sizes etc.

Hi all,  I'm looking to change my hand guard on my specna arms edge E07 for a longer one. Does anyone know which would would be a straight swap.  This is the type of barrel nut fitted

I have one of the XT 22 in a DMR build I'm doing at the moment. Had it for over a year but only just started using it. I'm surprised by how snappy it is compared to the specna edge 'upgraded' motor.
