Ok, so, im looking for an m4 front handguard with rails that will allow me to store a battery. Does such a beast exist? Or will i have to go with a crane stock. Oh, and i abhor PEQ/battery boxes. I would prefer if the top rail is flush with the top rail on the receiver, but its not essential.

By support gun i assume you mean something like a m249 or an RPK.. Buying new you're very unlikely to find something like that within your budget..you're looking at upwards of two hundred pounds.. Check the classifieds, you might get lucky.

Well, and im just guessing here, but magnifying sights would use two lenses, like a telescope or a pair of binoculars, so wearing glasses (i.e. adding a third lense) would screw up the focus. its not just you.
