Definitely would be a ball ache. But it works well. Me and the lads I play with all do it. 

I have the same one. Had it around a year now with no issues.  Downside is that it only shoots green.  BBs. I like to mix standard with tracer. So every round isn't glowing. (And they're not that much more expensive).

I have one of these. Its been perfect. Had to buy a couple of risers for it though.

Depends what youre using them for.  I use 0.20 inside as theres no wind to carry the BB off and theyre much cheaper. I also mix the same weight tracer BB with regular BBs so not every single shot glows, thats what i prefer. But 0.25 (or heavier) outside as a heavier BB will go through leaves...

Blasters are fine. I use 0.20 and 0.25g. Never had any issues and they dont cost too much

I would never part with my cash to buy an airsoft mystery box. Its expensive enough as it is without ending up with a load of gear you dont need/want.  Send it back. Get your pistol. 

That piston damage is not caused by a dirty barrel. I would also love to know the place that has said this.

Exactly what i did with my G&G GC16 Predator. 280fps to 326fps. I also put a bit of plumbers tape around the bucking /barrel.
