I don't do it personally because I can't shake the feeling that it will damage the springs, but the fact is it won't. I've read articles and experiments to show this to be the case. Still can't shake the feeling though...- Longshot

I think the problem is that it is illegal for you to sell a RIF without a defence. You can't stop people who can't provide you with that defence from bidding on a RIF that you put on ebay. If such a bidder wins you have entered into a legal contract to sell that item to them. At that point you... -

Yeah, bad analogy, granted. Perhaps a better one might be someone working in a shop that sell shotguns who sells a shotgun to someone without checking if they have a shotgun certificate. Clearly it's the individual salesperson who is at fault (provided they have received the correct training)... -

Want to buy two tone guns but cant find a decent site ! :(
All three of those guns are awful. In fact, pretty much everything on that website is terrible and I wouldn't take it near any airsoft game. Even if those guns weren't rubbish you'd be wasting your money buying them instead of renting anyway. Rental for three games would end up being £30-£45... -

Two Tone Modification
Legally speaking, you can turn an IF into a RIF just because you're going to play airsoft at a site tomorrow or the next day. The idea of 'regular' airsofting is not mentioned in law, so theoretically you could do that before playing your first game. -
