    VFC M249 Thread

It's the Magazine port door that some of us have had a problem with. Locks the mag or gas block into place. Some of them seem to alow the gas block for the box mag to pop free.  Mine hasn't done it since I fitted the dna part and It's getting alot of use ! The ejection port cover that is...

    Cyma ebb grach aep

I got one of these a couple of weeks ago. Remarkably snappy if not up to GBB standards, but I'm planning to use it in the winter . Seems to shoot well, the hop adjustment is fantastic. However, has anyone taken the slide off ? if so is there a knack to getting the take down lever out ? Mine...

Has a gauge on it , but seems to be preset. The gun itself does have a release valve built in if pressure gets too high. I'd say that power wise it was about the same as on green, but snappier.  Mine has always been pretty much on the site limit for where I play, I've finally got round to...

    Guitars

The cherry Epi is lovely, and out of the box much better than the Gibson. That had an action you could get a bus under and took lots of setting up.  To the extent that I wouldn't buy another Gibson, my Les Paul is also and Epiphone, but running a very nice pair of Bare knucke pickups.

PRS make some stunning guitars., and thats a beute ! I'm an SG fan mainly. Hugely into Sabbath, here are my main 2. The Gibo has 2 Iommi custom pickups and the Epi has the same in the bridge.  I have got a Jaydee Oldboy on order, build slot is about 12 months away yet !  Copy of Iommi's main...

O M G !!! if I may borrow the current vernacular , the CO2 mag was an absolute scream to use. Played 4 games today , 3 of them with the 249 and the 2 88g bulbs lasted the three games . I gassed out with about 5 minutes to go in the last one. Wasn't holding back either, much longer bursts then...

Taking mine tomorrow with the CO2 mag. Hopefullt it'll chrono ok. I can however confirm that my modded box mag will take the adaptor fitted with 2 x 88g capsules ?

    Eye protection, thoughts greatly appreciated

I did similar with a set that I was replacing. Point blank with my sniper at the full 2.3 J and not so much as a mark on them.

The point at which the hose goes into the connector block that then fits into the magwell ? If so, then , no, not had any issues there. I did have the other end of that hose pop out of the push fit connector on top of the gas tank a few times early on. I cant remember if I cured that by...

RA tech hop kit for WE Glock

At 10M it's probably not worth it. The setup we are using gives the scope to lift much heavier BBs (I use .30s in all my GBB) which is great at distance .

RA tech hop kit for WE Glock

My We Glocks have got M/L rubber, I key and hop wheel in the WE unit along with a Crazy jet barrel. They work well, I find RAtech kit can be a bit hit and miss .

I use the same, never had a fogging issue if I dont use the strap. Been hit in them multiple times and never fear for them breaking. I just buy new every year

My solution. End of a spare aeg box mag shell cut off and fitted to the VFC . Uses 3 self tappers to hold it on. CO2 unit fits fine, will need to check if it'll take 2 x 88g ones or not.  Basic, functional and not too messy.

    VFC M249 Thread

Welcome to the addiction that is the GBB M249 , they are soooo much fun ! Mine is still running completely stock internals and so far I'm getting away without the NPAS that I've got but not fitted yet. Although my local site does just work to the legal limits so I'm ok up to 1.3j . I had an...

You can indeed fit 2 at once.  Thanks for that link , it's a shame that every other size seems so much more expensive than the 88g ones . Would still need to confirm thread size matches the M16 threads on the 88g ones 5/8 unf thread seems to be a close match for M16 , close enough to fit I...

    VFC M249 Thread

They are a good inch too long, probably a bit more.  I think the thing with the 33g ones is that 'cos they are used for life vests suppliers feel they can charge more for them !  I'm looking into 25g ones to see if the thread size matches, if they do then 2 of those at a time should do the job...

    VFC M249 Thread

Okey dokey, 88g are too long to fit the box. However I have a couple of spare box mag shells from aeg 249's so I'm going to have a play about with extending one a couple of inches . I've got 10 88g capsules, so I'm damn well going to use them Lol.  If that works , I'll use smaller capsules in...
