Is this the ones that hold the gasplug in on the top of the BCG? If so, they're known for being soft while also being loaded with locktite. You need to heat the allen bolt up to break the locktite, then use a perfectly sized allen key to twist it out. Impact tools also help if you have one.

Mostly goes to show what a savage rip-off spare mags are in the UK. To this end, I think you'll realise more selling the rifle split from the mags. I don't think it would be that hard to find someone to give you £425 for the rifle, but an extra £300 for the mags will be hard.

The first VFC AKs had full auto issues that seemed to be related to dry output valves in the magazines. My 74u was a bit poor to begin with on full auto, but fine on semi. Current theory among owners is inconsistent paint application to the BCG, as once the fun wears in a bit (1200ish rounds)...

I've had quite a few - the eye relief on every one I've had has been poor, however the G&P one is/was the best by a decent measure.

I've got the VFC one - I enjoy it when I use it. Does about 1j on tri-shot with green gas. Only issue with it is the gas tank is in the pistol grip, so not massive. They're fixed hop - mine seems spot on with .25s.
