    Ive never noticed it being shot. Its a tactical torch so assume it can withstand it.

    I used to work at a race circuit and have seen go pro's come off cars and bikes at well in excess of 130mph, and survive the experience so I'm pretty sure they will take a bb strike

    Definitely not. My TL at work has said I can work from home to help rest my foot, but if I go airsoft then I can't. I just said I'll be in work as normal.

    What a great game it was today at the last ever game at The Embassy. Loved every second and played some of my best softing yet. Having a good loadout makes all the difference. The 416D is epic!

    Yup, a TM 416. Gets delivered to site this Saturday. Hyped! jcheeseright, do you run the SOPMOD batteries or did you convert it? I've bought 2 of the batteries with it.

    I used to run the SOPMOD batteries but they're expensive and a bit gutless. Thankfully it's a 10 minute job to solder deans onto the rails in the stock and just use normal LiPo batteries, 7.4v is about as high as I'd go though, apparently with 11.1v the recoil weight doesn't reset fast enough for the gun's cycle speed and you'll end up stripping pistons.

    Here's a decent guide on how to rig up the deans connectors:

    Sadly the other half don't see it that way. Condition of being allowed to buy a 416 is that I sell my GR16 on. I've been told that once the wedding is out the way and we've got a new house, I'm allowed to build an armoury though. I'll take that deal!

    They were supposed to make airsoft a more recognised hobby around the UK, help players with certain issues such as public transport by making the transport companies aware of it and the differences between airsoft and real steel shooting.

    I always thought of them as Airsoft's legal representatives if it were ever in danger of being banned or something like that.

    But in truth they do very little.

    This is what I've ordered though:

    Speed loader, SPEED BB Shield, ESS Prescription Inserts for my v12 Advancers, 9.6v 1600mah Crane Stock battery and some black Mechanix originals

    Was planning on ordered a XCorTech x3300w but having second thoughts now as I just bought a Burst Wizard King Super 2. Might just get a tracer or standard silencer

    Can anyone suggest a mesh face mask that will fit nicely and leave no gaps with the ESS V12 Advancers? I've got TMC v2 and v1 Strike mesh masks but neither fit nicely with them.
