Brand new G&P m14 firing full auto in semi... Using a 11.1v lipo when it recommends 7.4v could that be the issue? Don't know much about AEG's.

I've got some ruined threads on my angry gun outer barrel. As I understand it I can use a Tap & Die to fix it. Question is do I need bigger Tap & Die than the holes (3mm) or the same size?
