Does the MR rubber need the barrel to be modified? They say it's designed for a bigger hop window...

Interesting, i'm a big fan of the macaron but might have to give this a try.

I didn't mod anything, just popped the rubber on  No idea if I'm missing anything though.

Does seem to fit just fine in a "standard" window (Madbull Black Python v2), I will test in the E&L once I get the bloody barrel off -.-

Probably just Maple Leaf trying to sell more barrels then!

I'll take a few pictures of the rubber seated into a G&G crap alu barrel tonight  it's nice and short so I reckon pictures are going to be well lit to show how the patch sits.

Need any particular measurement? like hop window width or anything?

No, just want to see what it's like in a standard barrel. I have a new Cyma M14 and it could do with a better rubber, might get a ZCI barrel in it so was wondering what the MR is like. I've used Macarons before and they've fit fine.

Here's how it actually sits.

in RED the two parts that sit on the two flat side walls of the widow

in YELLOW the ring that is supposed to enhance the seal (in the first 2 pics you can see the rubber slightly bulging out in the middle, it's because of this ring)

@Skara thanks dude. Did the little sealing ring bulge give you any problems getting it into the hop unit?
