The answer is always Yay to shiny new toys.

It's not a new toy unfortunately.

it's just 3 parts for an existing toy (€200 worth of parts tho :( )

The idea is to turn my AS02 into something like this or this

Will it shoot any further, faster or more accurately? If not and if it's cosmetic only, that's totally personal preference.
Does look nice though.

Performance is pretty much maxed out already.

The only things I could improve are the barrel (crazy jet?) and the piston (something that doesn't slap the cylinder head like it's his bitch).

I guess it's gonna be more cosmetic than anything, although the forward mounted optic brings some benefits like faster acquisition and lets you keep both eyes open. It also doesn't obscure your peripheral vision as much as a standard optic.

You want to make an AS02 longer?  Have the VSR bullies been taunting you?

Oh hell no, if I wanted a longer gun I'd get a vsr instead..

I'm trying to figure a way to put a long eye relief optic on the as02.

Here is the main problem:

The top rail doesn't really allow it unless I remove the hop wheel.

Which is out of question because that wheel is fundamental for a good hop operation.

I am also reluctant to drop €100 on the cnc front end, adds unnecessary weight and needs to be modded to accept the wheel.

In all this the optic needs to be mounted forward, and sits right on top of the wheel.

Any ideas on addressing this issue?
