As an owner of the Ares CCP. It needs work to make it right out the box. Spring is far too strong which is done to compensate for the short barrel length. Barrel is meh, hop unit is also meh. Batteries are a pain to find that fit. Good point it’ll take an 11.1 out the box.

Standard M4 parts as you thought.
Barrel is 98mm and my plan was to try and find a 150mm barrel and run it through the middle of a suppressor I have, bit of suppression and a bit of FPS boost from longer barrel and tighter bore. Was eyeing up an @ak2m4 zci but they don’t seem to have the size I want and 200mm will be too long.
Hopup, same story, I want to swap it for a ZCI plastic rotary and then a ML bucking as I find that a reliable standard I use across all my RIFs.
Batteries I have used Nuprol 7.4 lipo in 1450mah flavour (crane style) as they can fit down the tube without too much hassle, I have a feeling 11.1s will be a touch too fat.
I will try and remember to ping you when I get the advert up, it can’t have even been skirmished 5 times but does have a very small split on the right side of the upper receiver where on its first outing a HPA player full autod me with .25s doing 370 at 3m range (I wasn’t happy and I know the figures because that’s what he chronod at when a Marshall tugged him up.
I probably don’t use it anywhere near as much as I should, I got it for a cold weather sniper side arm and to be fair my hi capa has always performed so it rarely made it out the bag.
