What motor are you using? Any pics?    

Definatley something wrong.

It's the standard Ares motor (gun is a ares am009), no pics atm, I haven't disassembled it yet but the sound was very clear.. And it's the same shit that happened the last 2 times I used that gun..

Had that with my Specna and cured it by dumping the stock grip and fitting a new none Specna grip new hi torque motor and new complete gear set. All shimmed perfectly with best gearbox grease. I start by shimming bevel gear to give optimum engagement to pinion gear. then locktite motor adjuster, the rest is child's play. I found the brand new E&L I bought recently only had half of the pinion gear engaged. The grip needed quite a lot of plastic removing before it seated on the gearbox rather than on the receiver and even then the adjuster required screwing in.

If you are changing only pinion gears then I would look at the bevel gear very closely, then that all gears are from the same manufacturer.

if you have chewed up 3 pinions then I would have thought....

stock bevel doesn't mesh great with your pinion(s)

after chewing 3 pinions - I'd expect bevel is f*cked too

if you just drop a new pinion in then I expect it to chew up rather qickly - much quicker than before coz bevel is getting more & more w@nked

Needs a strip down and likely redo the gearing or at least a new bevel & shimming & angle etc... from the ground up

I echo what druid said your tech must be crap

I'll take it to another tech on Tuesday..

I'm disappointed though, since the other gun I handed to him is working flawlessly! (Apart from me somehow losing the whole magazine release and catch thing)
