If it's somebody else's Birthday, I can understand the quandary..... But buy yourself one anyway!
And if it's your Birthday, get two ?

p.s. Happy Birthday!

Might I suggest a Walther P22. Best fun you'll ever have.

Nah. Been an M&P person myself, got an M&P22 for my 18th, my M&P9 Pro for completing an Advanced shooting class when I was 19, and I got a Glock 19X for my birthday this year. Ive shot the Walthers, but im a bit beyond those now. BTW I'm in the US, not the UK if anyone was a bit confused.

Then how about an AR308?

Haha, maybe I should post a picture of the Gun safe in Ellijay... I come from a family of shooters, so we have a fair share of guns, including AR308s. In fact we got a SCAR mk17 in March, which is my favorite 308, and we also have an old M1A, which is my second. Bother those I prefer over AR308s. The reason I was looking at the Vector 9mm and the MPX was that we do not own any customized 9mm carbines or PDWs. The six or seven we do own we keep the same for use in shooting classes.
