I'll be honest, no sub-£150 sniper rifle is going to be anywhere near competitive out of the box.

If you want to snipe on that kind of a budget, buy a Well MB01, spend no money doing it up, spend the other £30 on a scope then sell it all because it's rubbish and you wish you hadn't bought it and maybe should've bought a TM Mk23.

Infact just buy a TM MK23, it may as well be reclassified from a pistol to "One handed compact sniper rifle". Got done by one loads at Dorking the other week.

well my favorite type of sniper is m40a5 but im not looking to spend upwards of £300 for one and then not like it and see its value drop. Rather get something that is cheat and from there i could move to something better. And in not a fan of TM sniper, dont like how much plastic those guns have in them its not for me

Don't buy cheap - you're wasting your money if you want to field it against AEGs most of the time. There are very few cheap routes to sniping, but the one open to you is buying second hand. Find a good condition TM VSR and it'll be about 100-150. Use any spare money to replace the bucking if it's ruined and give it some TLC (Teflon tape on the cylinder, home made barrel spacers etc.)

@proffrink if only i could modify vsr and stick m40a5 stock on it. Dont judge me, but i hate the look of m24 stock. It's just really ugly to me never was a fan of how it looks and feels.
