70m headshot ? Really?

Have you flat hopped it or anything?

I'd be dubious of the 70m figure at sub 350 FPS otherwise there would be loads of snipers doing it and avoiding MED rules.

If your on about range and accuracy then neither of those platforms are any different to a decent aeg.

Rubbish. I have literally the same gearbox, hop unit and rubber in a gun, 50m man sized target maybe 3 out of 5 shots - 70m, not a chance in hell.

It is fecking marvelous experience to go from average to well built gun, so i can fully appreciate the excitement and wild claims that come with it Mine comes from my TM HC M4, 1-2fps variance and v tight groupings. Great trigger response. no idea about the range, but no-one has really, and all claims of range are usually fisherman's 'this-big' guesses, apart from the few people who bother to take them to shooting ranges etc

Are these Airsofter's Metres?

Its 420fps Esoteric and I use the prowin hop unit with a lones 70 degree bucking. And proper metres.

You might want to reel your arse in there. Abridged from your PM, what you claim would defy Physics. No one can defy physics. The only way you could get that range is if you were either 11ft tall, or were that high above your target.

Barrel will only make a small difference.

You can over hop with any bucking.

Lonex 50 is a good bucking but lonex 70 isnt great.

Using heavy weight bbs (not pellets) will make a difference you are correct there.

Gearbox does sod all for range no matter what its paired with so that statement is bollocks.

Over hopped range doesn't count. You can only count a straight trajectory.

Using the kinematics equation I can work out the possible distance I could get out of a pellet of the weight I used at the velocity it came out of the barrel. The kinematics equation: v x t + (1/2) x a x t means that my equation in numerical form would be: 128(ms-1 from 420fps) x 1.82 (time pellet was in the air) + 1/2 x 0.03(acceleration) x 1.82(squared) gives 71.0184m. This is possible. Physics huh? If only you knew
