no battle eye, the most outdated peice of sh*t 3rd party software. why the hell does arma still use it its 15 years old and hasnt been updated once.

All the 3rd party anti cheat stuff is bullshit! I'm pretty sure I got banned from a MC server once just because I had only ever lost 3 games on one of the game modes. Nothing to do with the admins, just because the software thought I was dodgy. Its hardly my fault everyone else is rubbish!

Love a bit o Arma3, but still love Dayz more, even if the standalone is only halfway through alpha

The Arma 2 overpoch mod is still way better than standalone. I'd be surprised if in a couple of years standalone has half the features.

Agreed the graphics engine and associated better ui is all that the standalone has going for it. I got bored of overpoch as it almost has too much content and doesn't really feel apocalyptic/survival ish

It's basically a PVP game as much as anyone tries to disagree. I doubt the standalone will incentivise people to not shoot on sight. I'd play it still but need a decent size squad or you will get stomped.

Yeah i always considered Dayz PVP, and always KoS. As for needing a squad, certainly helps but you just need to be a sneaky f*cker. I've only encountered one squad in the game, usually people solo

You can't reliably fight squads solo, i've done it a few times but requires great positioning and to leave if you lose your advantage. Any half decent server will have lots of groups. Also very difficult to build a base without a squad.

Is it task force radio you are trying to setup? A lot of clans used to use ACRE but newer versions of teamspeak didn't support it last time I checked so looks like people are using TFR now(including my clan). If you scroll down on here: http://radio.task-force.ru/en/ there's a setup guide.

On all the servers I've been on you need teamspeak.
