I thought blasters were good?

They banned blasters? That's ridiculous, pretty much all brands shatter on impact with a hard surface.

Probably because they only want people to buy them from their onsite shop?

Why would you ban Blasters? They're one of the most trusted brands!

Josh, oddly enough, they used to sell blasters. They've banned them because they failed a quality test- shoot some mesh eyewear at 330FPS. If 1 of the 10 BBs shatter then they ban them from use on site. Safety reasons, apparently. Funnily enough, 4 of the 10 Bulldogs failed the test, whereas only 1 blaster did.

Their methodology for testing is awful as I mentioned. If you were to pick a random brand of BB and check one BB and it happened to be uneven would the conclusion be that brand is awful? As M_P said most/all brands shatter and as we discussed before the fragments have no energy passing through mesh
