Nearest milsim would be at least a 400 mile drive and I don't particularly feel like paying a fortune on fuel just to play the exact same game without the annoying kids. You don't quit a job and travel an extra 400 miles to work everyday just because you don't like some of your work mates do you?

No but i wouldn't stop a very large portion of the airsoft community just to please myself either.

I would..but i'm selfish like that & dislike kids with a passion..especially todays brats..what was that too much ?

End of the day under 18s make up probably a good 25% at least of airsofters in the UK, there'll be some younger ones who you may find annoying but they have no lesser reason to be there. They probably think that you take it too seriously and should lighten up yet are unlikely to voice the opinion that those who don't like a bit of green on their guns should be refused entry to the site.

A lot of the airsoft community are over 18 and a lot of ex military. My local site usually only have two regular people who are under 18, one being my son. The rest are over 18 including my squad who are all ex military.

Most of my sons friends who own airsoft guns only use them for garden battles. My last site I went to, there was only three under 18's and the rest again, were either ex military or are 18 and over

fair enough, most of the big sites i've been too, combat south for example on any one day has at least 15 under 18s there, more often than not more than that. You can always avoid them if it's that big an issue. Or realise that it's not a real and that other people might want to have some fun from time to time.

and I also don't understand how you can say any of us take it too seriously because we have had a rubbish day, wasted money because minors want to play 'army battle' as one called it.

Pretty sure you'd be pretty annoyed that you spent money to have a disappointing day because of certain young people messing things up.

I've had bad days airsofting, i don't deny it. I wouldn't ban a large amount of people playing though just because I go about airsofting differently to them. If they've payed to be there then I don't see an issue with them playing how they like even if it's not how I would do so myself. If it was truly a massive issue I would expect my site's staff to do something about it. If it was that bad and you're site's staff didn't then you should probably find...

a better run site. Or try to include them more in what you're doing and interact with them. No one likes the older players who look down on them because they're new and are stuck with two tones, as if it's their choice to have bright guns.

It's like saying my next door neighbours shouldn't be allowed to live next to me because their baby's crying can be irritating. They have every right to be there even if it can be annoying from time to time, just put up with it and move on.

Ah but you see that's where you're wrong. I was very patient with all of them, being ex military you learn to give orders and suggestions to all kinds of people. I've helped and spoken to locals in Afghanistan who don't speak a word of English and still kept calm and patient. I do same with kids at airsoft. I treat everyone equal no matter what their build, what their loadout is, what gun they use. I talk to everyone as if they're another service member. Even if they'r...

How you figure that M_P you can control the babys crying by either buying sound proofing or closing your windows as to not hear the baby

you cannot however control children behaving like moron's short of slapping them silly (which i do NOT condone) unless you're the parent of said child

DEDSEC

A very valid point there b1, I'm not taking sides here but you can stop hearing a baby crying. If it's at night, put earphones in? You can't put earphones in mid airsoft game and all of a sudden all the kids turn into ripped, hardcore battle veterans.. Plus people are entitled and accepted by others to give birth to a child which will ultimately cry. However people do not accept children ruining a sport by pissing about.

These kids can't drive, so they don't get to ruin that many games :P

Luckily.. Wouldn't have much of an Audi A3 if kids were legally allowed to drive.

You could wear a headset? Did you complain to a marshal or anything? If you did and they didn't do anything then it can't have been that bad. If you didn't mention it and it was truly bad enough for them to be able to sort it then who's fault is that?

Like I've said I've been annoyed by them like anyone else at some point but banning them isn't the way to go about it

DEDSEC
DEDSEC
No I did not inform the marshal because like I previously mentioned, I don't quibble and moan about things I dislike when I'm there. It's more mature to just deal with it and keep trying then to moan and loose your temper at them or moan to a marshal and spoil every bodies fun, which you have been saying is very important.

Personally never had a problem with younger players at airsoft. Worst I've seen was a guy yelling at everyone to push. In fairness it was completely valid in the situation, if a little grating.

I've been annoyed on a game day but much older people aswell as kids. I am only 15, but you do sometimes get the occasional tw*t who just starts shouting and having a go at you because they think they know more than you on their second visit to the site. It's not all of us and certainly not just kids
