Why does it have to be quiet?

dogs go, "WOOOFFFF WOOPPOSOWOWOWOOWOOOOOFF!" everytime I shoot something.

Well AEGs aren't particularly loud, your neighbours need to discipline their dogs when they bark at noises.

A
AK47frizzle
yes... mine is...

L
Liam Porter
How loud is it?

A
AK47frizzle
it's like turning on a vacuum cleaner on and off constantly. I've done all my fine tuning but still nothing.

I wouldn't give a f*ck about the neighbours. Buy a TM GBB and have fun with it, whatever happens on your family's property is not their concern if it doesn't involve them.

It can't be as loud as a vacuum cleaner, but even if it is, is the dog louder?

not too fun having them calling the coppers because they think it's a real gun thou (remember, many people never heard a real gun so does not have any reference to how loud it is).

you know most AEPs is nonblowback, right?

An AEG sounds nothing like a real gun, it sounds like a toy, even to someone who has never heard a real gun. But, most AEGs will not be loud enough to cause problems, and if the neighbours say anything, it's pretty much tough sh*t on them.

Just buy a really loud gun and drown out the sound of the annoying dog

I am a fair bit paranoid when shooting my GBB indoors in a flat where I can hear the neighbours put in a wall plug. if you're not, liam, then that's your decision.

charlie: best post so far :D

That's a GBB, a completely different sound to an AEG. An AEG sounds more like an RC car than a gun. But yeah, I honestly couldn't care less what I'm shooting in my house, it's mine, it's none of my neighbours' business, and I'm doing literally nothing wrong. If they want to complain or call the police, let them, nothing will come of it.

true that is an GBB, also my AEGs sounds nothing like RC cars. people are a bit more paranoid in the area I live in when in England. and arguably, it would be your neighbours business if they think you're firing sharp ammunition close to them/their property. Where I live currently I don't mind much. People are more relaxed and the police is not likely to kick in my door or shoot me 7 times in the head - ask questions later.

Each to their own.

well tbh, we all know what airsoft is what they sound like, our neighbours, well mine, don't. They are not gun lovers so they don't really know the difference which would cause problems.

L

Okay, fair enough. But whatever, a new AEG won't be too loud to cause problems for neighbours, at it will be no where near as loud as a hoover. So, don't decide which gun you're getting based on the noise it makes.

my neighbors are a bit pissy about the whole gun situation as well and they have a really annoying load dog, that thing never stops barking so when they finally got the idea that mine and my dads guns aren't real. when ever there dogs bark, and they dont shut up, i just wip out the WE g18 dad grabs his WE gbbr m4 and that usually shuts him up, he runs back inside so maybe try that! (just to clarify we dont actually shoot the dog we shoot a cardboard box the sound shuts him up) but hav...

just saying guys, I might get a HFC MK23. For £50, it's silent and good range and accuracy but it has no blowback or anything else but, i might consider it.

I'd save and get a TM GBB. It's better in the long run
