I think novat combat have bar10s

    AK47frizzle
oh, I haven't seen many bar 10's lately.

UCAP Sandpit sounds so good. Wish there was a site like that around here up North. Would be cool to do a desert loadout but there aren't even many quarries or owt up here AFAIK and people in woods wearing MTP look stupid IMO

Alas they don't allow 2tone or clear guns so have to wait for UKARA/black gun or hire a gun. Dunno if this to keep it realistic or make more money on gun hire - don't mind being an easy target for the regulars though - maybe in the summer then I can give it try

    Good luck.

Bloody hell! $122 shipping for an A&K M249 MKII and it's still cheaper than buying it from Zero One. (By £50 or so IIRC)

It doesn't unfortunately, forgot about that. :( srry if you were thinking of getting it.

Anyone own / have used the Madbull Troy (Battle Ax) grip, and how does it compare to the MAGPUL MOE pistol grip?

i have one. I think there more for woodland ect really nice to rest, its nice to mix it up

So I was going to get a WELL MB-01 (AKA Warrior L96) including scope and bipod for ~ £110 but I've discovered a TM Real Shock VSR-10 is £154 shipped from eHobby Asia. :)

    Unrustle_Thine_Jimmies
    Unrustle_Thine_Jimmies
May as well get a TM VSR Pro at PAS for 170. Or better yet get one from Echigoya in Japan for 100 pounds(not incl. shipping)

Sadly Echigoya's site is down :(

I didn't know anywhere was selling it, thanks. I've got round to reading some more on it and the recoil will just knacker the cylinder and make shot consistency / accuracy worse. I could always disable it I suppose. It's either the WELL MB01 L96 or TM VSR then. Pretty obvious choice, but then again I'm not buying it yet.

    Airsoft_Mr B

Has Echigoya been down for a while?

Yeah, were you there? I think I met you :) me dad's the guy with the G36C

    cropzy
    cropzy
Yeah, I was the guy with the proto switch EL mask and the rental g36c. Get my UKARA in about a week so only a few more visits with a rental gun then I get my own!

Would the Well MB-02F be compatible with VSR internals? I'm guessing so because they're both based on the same rifle and the MB-03 does take VSR/BAR parts.

I will probably get a Well (Warrior) MB-01 L96 in the end, as it's the other popular rifle (don't know how to word it) I know that's pretty upgrade able and I can get a lot of the parts. Speaking of which I'd upgrade sears first to reduce wear and then move on to reinforced cylinder head etc. I had a look at upgrade guides a while back but forgot a lot of it.

    Unrustle_Thine_Jimmies
    Unrustle_Thine_Jimmies
You will also need a new cylinder, the WELL L96 cylinder are made of a low quality brass alloy and are crimped on-they handles have a habit of coming off with higher power springs. L96s are a good option since you have a 90* mech ready to go,all you need is new sears and piston for max reliability. Their hop up units are quite usable too-I highly reccomend ASPUk hop up arms for them. A con I can think of Is that the hop up rubbers are not very good, you can get AEG rubbers onto them with a new...

    Thanks for the help :)

    Really useful advice there mate.

I'll get the MB-01 from Gunfire (£90-£110 including scope + bipod) Then I guess around £150 for upgrades (internally)

What are shipping costs from RSOV like?

You dont even need to go through the checkout process with RSOV, They give you the shipping price as soon as you add it to your cart

They're not great, as expected, but some stuff still works out cheaper than over here. For example MAG MP5 magazines are £40 (8) rather than £55/£60 and Madbull ACE stock ~ £65 (UK: around £80-£90 I think?)

Ordered one of these for a laff! :) do you think it could be used for airsofting (wearing eye pro underneath of course)

Good point Monty haha, can't wait to try it anyway but got to wait for it to arrive from China :(

Why's everyone on eHobby Asia saying the TM G17 is expensive...it's like £80. Over here (if in stock) they're like £100 right? Haven't seen their shipping costs yet though - also going to buy JG BAR-10 from them.

    Tariq
    Tariq
I only ever use it for parts i cant get anywhere else. And only to fix broken stuff. Never for things i just want. Not again. Bout a G36 drum magazine, they sent me a M4 one. Refused to refund me or send me the correct one unless i returned the M4 one, with the international shipping at my expense.

    A
    Airsoft-Ed
TM G18s are mad expensive in the UK, like £140 or so whenever I've seen them.

Only Glock 18 I've ever seen for that cheap are the AEP ones.

    K
    kitch
its ok buying from asia but (and ive had this happen a few times now) not only does the shipping normaly bring it up to uk price anyway the other thingis customs and ive paid up to and over 30 quidto get a gun released so sometimes best to stick to uk

Any difference between a normal M4A1 receiver and Mk18 receiver? I mean it's the same gun but I'm just wondering if there is some kind of difference with the airsoft model. Could be ordering new lower and upper from eHobby Asia (at some point)

    M_P
    M_P
Shape-wise no, the markings might be though- Jcheesewright is probably the guy to ask

    jcheeseright
    jcheeseright
In airsoft terms no difference, 99% of real Mk18s I expect have standard colt traded M4 lowers. A standard M4 upper

    would be fine. T

he real Mk18 has a modified bolt, buffer and gas system to cope with the shorter barrel.

    jcheeseright
    jcheeseright
For added clarity, Mk18 is just the US Navy numbering system for the CQBR (close quarters battle receiver), you'll get more info searching for that than Mk18.

Really like MARPAT, but if I bought US M81 Woodland it could be used for OPFOR loadouts too. Both are pretty cheap on Flecktarn. What are your opinions?

    AirsoftTed
    AirsoftTed
I'll PM you where to get some cheap m81, I was keeping it for myself till I had enough monies but I doubt we'll be the same size lol

    Monty
    Monty
Cmon Mr B, you know you want Cadpat..

    Airsoft_Mr B
    Airsoft_Mr B
    That too Monty :)

Anybody ordered guns from eHobby Asia? I know it's a good website and it's trusted but what's it like for delivery etc? I would expect high customs charges and things (it they got through) I ask because I found a JG BAR 10 on there ($98!) & TM G17 for ~ $140! And a load of gear and stuff I want too.

Never thought changing a delta ring would be such a hassle, and how do you keep that front part (where front of handguard slots in to) in place without FSP (people remove it to use red dot sights and such)

    Airsoft_Mr B
    Airsoft_Mr B
Ok well I removed the existing delta ring piece and now I have to put the new one on but it is threaded whereas the CYMA one isn't. I think I could file it down to fit because it's a like fraction of millimetre off. Not sure how they then lock into place because at the one point I tried putting the CYMA one back on and couldn't figure that out.

    AirsoftTed
    AirsoftTed
Can you post up some pictures mate? I'll do my best to help

    Airsoft_Mr B

I'll make a thread now, been meaning to do it since Friday.

    Thanks for the help :)

    AirsoftTed

Mr B, why not just put a pair of surplus DPM's or other cheap uniform and sew a paracord grid on the back?

    Airsoft_Mr B
    Airsoft_Mr B
That's what I'm thinking of doing instead of a full on suit Teddy. I have either Vegetato or DPM BDUs I could use and I have some paracord already. Thing is how do you actually attach the foliage onto it? I know people use dental floss and things but I don't know how you actually tie it on or whatever. I'll find a way when I get to that stage. I will buy some burlap or synthetic fibre stuff to put on too.

    AirsoftTed
    AirsoftTed
The grids aren't completely flat to the BDU, only sewn on at the joins and corners, leaving space to thread foilage in, or you can tie loops in your jute and burlap to put foilage in. I think what the original guy did was use shock/bungee cord sewn onto the BDU to retain foilage, I remember him mentioning buying some near the beginning

Wow ok so I've just a seen this YouTube comment, the guy said in Russia their sniper rifles can be upgraded to 250 m/s. That's ~820 FPS!!

    Airsoft_Mr B
    Airsoft_Mr B
Well it's an airsoft type game they're playing, pellets and not proper rounds so they wear a bit more protection compared to over here.

    Airsoft_Mr B
    Airsoft_Mr B
Basically it's BB guns they're using (I don't mean cheap airsoft guns)

I think this is the video but there was another I watched which could be it:

    Unrustle_Thine_Jimmies
    Unrustle_Thine_Jimmies
I don't think I've met anyone playing hardball in Ukraine, but I'd imagine the community would be big enough for it due to how common russian made air rifles are available.. Hardball is basically airsoft with air rifles(.177 lead pellets and balls) It's absolutely mental.

So I'm going to be buying a new delta ring for my M4 as I have an MOE handguard. What kind of price can I expect to sell my RIS for? No longer need / want it and I would have to switch delta ring to change between handguard and RIS. Also looking to sell my 2 metal hi caps that came with the gun as I am buying MAG mid caps. Thanks

    Mack
    Mack
what type of ris is it mate? KAC style?

    Airsoft_Mr B
    Airsoft_Mr B
Yeah I think it is, I think it's in pretty good condition, carbine length. It's from my CYMA so a TM clone but I would include the delta ring if I sell it.

    Mack
    Mack
Cyma m4 rails go for £23 on a few sights I know and that includes the KAC style rail covers. If you are selling it let me know as im after a ris for a project
