    TM Recoil M4 owners - Will G&P externals fit your rifles? Someone's telling me they have real steel dimensions so G&P won't fit, but I thought G&P was real steel dimensions... Anyone have any input?

    Got a mark back from my first Uni piece of the year. 52/100 - 40 being the pass mark. I literally made it all up and copied the lecturer's references... Someone who actually tried and did it properly got 35/100. Is the system broken beyond repair. Or what?

    Seriously though, I didn't cite any sources or anything, I just copy and pasted the references from a lecture and only used the slides from that same lecture, to gain an understand for and write 2000 words for the assignment.

    I couldn't have tried any less if I'd wanted to without simply not submitting anything.

    Whereas the other person who got 35, used proper references and citations, actually read up on the subject and actually put effort into it...

    I would consider myself a smart guy, but not in the way that would allow me to just breeze something like this.

    My type of intelligence is more geared towards figuring people out and taking special considerations into account for given situations, being naturally observant and stuff like that.

    I've still never even taken a book out of the Uni library. How I passed by 12 marks is an absolute miracle.

    Some people just have a good level of common sense and some don't. I've worked with many students who think they're dead smart but don't have an ounce of common sense and it makes them come across very dumb. I never did the college/uni thing but still ended up in a job where people studied for years just to get something like this, so common sense does count for something. So i'd have to say that you've got very good common sense mate!

    It's pretty bad. I'd rather have got a job at 16 than waste my time being surrounded by so called "academics" who seem to behave as though their degree is simply a license to use long words other people don't understand and then label it as intelligence.

    I've finished writing it now, just need to get the references done and then it'll be ready for hand in tomorrow.

    But yeah, I've got another 2000 words to write for Monday, which I might be able to get done over tomorrow and Friday, but then I've got 6000 to do for Thursday next week, which I'm not looking forward to... Need to conduct two interviews, learn how to use SPSS, a stats program and all sorts of shit. Think I might just have to "try" so it loo...

    New Osprey ought to be here this week, JDAirsoft ought to be restocking the sniper I'm after soon, I've spoken to a guy about getting me a new helmet, and my loan came through today! January is looking good :P

    Good shout, so it is a Mk3. To be fair, I don't thin it is illegal for you to buy it, but for them to sell it is a bit naughty...Oh well, I have a Bergen full of kit I never signed for wedged in the garage at home, there not getting that back in a hurry either!

    Considering getting a NVG scope as well... But I'm not sure it can be mounted to the sniper I'm going to be getting. Plus, the cost is slightly off putting...
