Nope. They didn't charge for VAT nor any sort of import fee, I only paid for the two items (Perst-4 replicas for the team), free postage as well.
If I get to pay imports on delivery, it's okay as it's not my money so they can charge whatever they want

was it over 135 euro's? all EU and UK purchases on Aliexpress now get VAT added DDP style. All mine I've had 20% added at checkout, I've read now all of EU have the same.

each Perst was €157.09 with VAT, bought two so should have spend €314.18 but I only got charged €257.53

Ah that'll be why. Since the introduction of this policy all of my £135+ value Aliexpress Chinese packages have arrived without VAT added by UK customs. It's almost like they no longer give a shit. I think as long as you stick to the cheaper eXpress service. Well that's how I've found it in the UK.
