Though, I don't think it's doable unless they custom build an ESC for you (and I guess it's gonna be rather expensive I'm afraid, enough to make it not worth).

It will not work if wired backwards. A buddy of mine far more techy explained why it wouldn't when I was enquiring about putting a couple in my RS T97's. (I didn't understand still, but I trust him implicitly). 

The best way of doing it is removing the built in ESC and make an outboard one capable of doing it like they do in the RC world. Would take someone who is good at circuitry to do it though.

It is a crying shame. No motor in the Airsoft world performs as well working backwards as they do forwards.
