tbh it would be nice to see more slimline motors/alternate box designs.

tech has moved on a bit from the ferrite magnets and nicad's tm had to deal with when they came up with the original gearbox designs.

it is amazing really.

lipo and brushless were standard fare in rc when i started and that was over a decade ago now.

afaik some of the brushless stuff can do revolution counting, which if integrated properly could put an end to cutoff levers, microswitches and optical sensors we normally use for rotation tracking.

but ofc why innovate when you can just reshuffle the furniture of an ar and spew out a bunch of "new" guns.
